Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

New to board.

Just got my new Chevy from a dealer up in Georgia. One owner truck all original survivor! 350 and 3 speed Auto. Even came with original tires on original rims as extra's.

Original owner worked for GM and used it as a commuter.

I do have late model rally rims on it and will keep them for now. I need the bow tie cover emblem for one of them, Any pointers on where I can find that?

127,000 original miles on a great truck!
Always wanted one and I plan to keep it bone stock.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

This is my 1970 Chevy CST-10. Bought it in May, 2007 from the guy who "restored" it. He did a frame off job....pretty decent paint job, but many corners (mainly in the re-assembly process) were cut. I have learned a lot about this ol' girl.....as I've been the "de-bugger". I learned a lesson from all this. Never buy any vehicle that has just had a frame-off restoration, unless you enjoy fixing someone else's unfinished work! Little by little all the bugs are being worked out........mostly...by me.

I don't know why, but I've never gotten around to posting mine. Here's my 70 Longbed and 69 shorty. The short bed is for sale as we speak. The longbed has all the parts and getting ready for body work.
