this post GMC 305 V6 + 2wd 4 speed conversion

For sale is a complete 1969 305 GMC V6 (305E). This engine came in a truck I bought for the manual transmission. This engine is currently not running, but I do plan to work on it to see if it will run. It has a newer fuel pump and alternator on it, along with all the pulleys, exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, bell housing, flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate. The bell housing has the SM420 4 speed bolt pattern, and that is the transmission that I removed from it. I believe this engine to be original as it still has the stamped numbers on the deck surface. This engine will require at minimum, a carb rebuild and spark plug wires (old ones fell apart upon removal) best I can tell. I am now also including the SM420 4 speed, and all of the parts to switch over to a 4 on the floor transmission EXCEPT the pedal assembly. I also have steering wheel (not great shape) and the non-tilt column. What you see in the photos is what you get for $500. This price is firm, I will not accept any lower offers, or trades. Cash only. I can get more photos and answers questions if you have them so please do not hesitate. If you call and are not able to reach me PLEASE leave a message, I get hounded daily with spam calls so I don't always answer, texting also works.

Where in Indiana Are you located? Are the valve covers included? I am guessing they are but do not see them in the pictures. Thanks

Columbus, IN, and yes they are, I didn't realize I left them out.

Photo below was engine in the truck I took it out of. Not a great shot of the valve covers but they're in pretty good shape.

$400 Christmas sale. I've had a few other things take priority and I haven't had time to mess with engine.

What was the exhaust like on that truck? Is the y pipe good or did you have to cut it?

they were true duals all the way back, but i cut them a foot or so below the flange so when i got the time to put it on a stand id have something to weld to for exhaust.

Edit: I didnt realize I did not have the exhaust manifolds in the photos. I will get some pics up of them soon.
