If it isn't, it's a miracle.

That sure looks like a truck worth saving. I bet you will end up with a salvage title for that though.

That hurts just looking at it. (bad memorys of the first longhorn)
The frame is toast. there is (almost) no way that it can't be. These things don't hold up that well when the injury comes from the side up front.

You can buy another frame and front clip at good prices on this board. Match the paint, and you would have just over $1000 in repairs in to a sweet truck.

I am just putting in a bid so I'm not sure if I'll get it. The frame is not shot. If you look where the wheels are and the bumper they look like they are in about the right spot. You can definately tell that the sheet metal is all that was shoved over from the drivers rear view. I think I will cut the frame on my truck and use that box on mine. Then take my box and put it on a frame of one of my long box parts trucks, then put on that cab. I have new spare fenders for a 72, a good hood, and rust free inner fenders and radiator supports. So I'll put that all together and sell it. But I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

This

Looks way too much like this

Whis resulted in this.

I wish I had pics of my friend's in Tx...his was worse than mine...same sort of imact as the blue one your looking at.

The bimper looks to be shoved over by at least 6 inches to me...but that could be the camera angle.

well if it goes cheap enough the cab and bed are worth it alone the motor and tranny might be ok too. Its good as a parts truck or to swap out the frame and put on a nose

Ahhh, I see now. Your longhorn frame is/was straightenable though. If I get the truck I'll get it here and see exactly what I want to do. What would my longbox be worth of my 72? Oh yeah, the bidding ends next Monday. I'll know then

That sucker was bent clear back to teh front of the rear springs, it was torn and ripped in 3 places. It may well have been repairable...but I wouldn't own it.
