Re: weighed my truck!

I cant find it but somwhere i have a book that lists all the factory weights for our trucks, according to it my panel should weigh 3800lbs. It broke them up by wheelbase 2 or 4wd and engine size.

Re: weighed my truck!

When I weighed mine at my former employer on our truck scales, it came in about 3825. I thought that was a bit much, but reading here I see it was just about like everyone else. I'd like to weigh my DD '96.....

Re: weighed my truck!

OK Guys... dont feel too bad. A 1970 Hemi Cuda comes in at just over 4000lbs. My 2000 supercharged Mustang weighed 3800lbs. (and it hauled A..) My wifes Nissan Armada is just shy of 6000lbs.

Re: weighed my truck!

The funny thing is, our trucks weigh less than that boat of a new Camaro.

Re: weighed my truck!

We also lack a lot of interior, electrical, and complex suspension. Oh, and that silly safety thing.

Assuming your truck is a LWB truck with SBC?

Did you add power windows or any other mods?

Do you have a hard bed cover?

Towing package?

Bumpers - You have them or roll pans?

Stock Gas Tank location?

A/C or Non?

Stock wheels and Tires?

Stock Brakes ??

All these things would in my way of thinking add or subtract from how much your truck would weigh. I am sure their are a lot more options that I have not mentioned.
