here are some updated pictures from this weekend. i was able to get my rotors turned down so i could run the Center line wheels with no clearance issues,as well as clean up the front end and add the blazer tank to the rear.i am running an 18/20 combo i will be installing a 350/400 in the next couple of weeks .

I'm not understanding why the rotors would would have interference issues with 18s. They don't have issues with 15s. Are you talking about the hub center?

i was talking about the center of the rotor. the wheels fit fine with out any machine work. it's the cap that won't fit unless you turn down the center hub on the rotor. not too hard to do.

Nice. Do I spy a tubular A-arm upgrade? Now I'm feeling motivated to bust out the wire wheels and get back to work on my 71!

yes you do, that is the cross member for my 70 2wd Blazer. that is a work in progress. 4 wd to 2 wd. full Air ride set up with trailing ares in the rear.

you know i bought the wheels when they first started selling the smoothies so i got a killer deal. i think i paid just over $350.

Those wheels are too cool for school. I went to Centerline's website and they offer them in 8-lug which made me even happier.

Did yours come with that finish? The website said polished or chrome.

thanks for the props...i powder coated them in my garage. you can always paint them as well.

If your gonna buy them, get them polished not chrome. To powder coat you need as close to bare metal as you can get, and chrome is just one more layer to strip.

For all 4!? That's wicked! I remember that sale a long time ago, but didn't jump on it as the truck wasn't running...

here is a side shot with out the c-notch. then when i notched it the rear droped another 2" in the back. but if you really want your truck low just do what the guy did in the last picture. just fill it up with a bunch of cute chicks......

Did you put a flat-clear coat on the wheels, or just the flat black?

Learned the hard way you do infact need a clear on the wheels. In a few months the finish will start fading, bad.

yeah i noticed that the black powder coat is starting to fade a bit so i plan on painting over them with Flex and Flat.it has a UV inhibiter so that should do the trick. not a big deal. or i just might paint over the powder coat with the black paint that i am using for the body. check out this paint at the Kustomshop.com.. killer deals on paint.you can see that there is a little fade on the rear wheels due to the uv exposer.

You fellas need to buy your powder from somewhere else. There are good UV resistant powders out there.

how much did you have to machine the hub? I have a set of colorado customs boulders that are gonna require the same mod & I was worried about outer bearing support.I had thrown around the idea of powder coating them black but have chickened out so far.Man those centerlines sure look sweet!

you know i can mic them to see what i took off, as for support it was not that much. there is a lot of steal there . i am sure you will not have any problem with it.
