Stainless exhaust

Just finished my stainless exhaust to the rear axle. 409 SS to there and 304 SS out the back soon.

Re: Stainless exhaust

Looks really good, I took a similar approach, used 304SS, .065” wall O.D. Tubing, 45’s and 90’s from a piping supplier. Final weldup this week, been learning TIG so I could do it myself.

Mine are Hush Power II’s by Flowmaster, I just like the sound, not really loud

Cool. I'm struggling what muffler to use when I install headers and dual exhaust this winter.
YouTube then seems perfect. Not too loud
Thanks.

Re: Stainless exhaust

When I get to it, I'll be putting Cadillac mufflers on my truck. If one muffler can flow the exhaust from a 500 CI engine quietly, two will be nice and quiet and low restriction, and quiet. I'll use an h-tube to increase the frequency of the exhaust note to further dampen the noise. I've had enough hot rods and uncorked header drag racing to have gotten that racket out of my system.
