Starting of a complete restore of a 68 - 910

Hey all,

I have always loved these old trucks.
I found this one on a farm, it has not left the farm for 12 years.
Finally got one going to restore back to orginial or very close to it.
I will have lots of questions in the future.

Very happy to find a board like this to help with the answers.

Re: Starting of a complete restore of a 68 - 910

Yes the frame was sand blasted and power coated.
The old girl is coming together as good or better then she was rolling out of the factory.

The box is done now (needs to be bolted to the frame)
Still needs a brake job, exhaust and interior rug installed as well.
She will be on the road come spring.

NOT A freeride that is for sure.
LOL

Re: Starting of a complete restore of a 68 - 910

Nothing worth having is free brother.....but the money we invest in these rigs will make these trux better than a new one we could buy. NO monthly payments and NO electronics (some of us) to frustrate us. Keep the momentum!
