negative camber after shock replacement

after changing my shocks yesterday, i took it for a drive in town. it drove well and felt alot tighter, however, when i took it on the freeway, it had a vibration after 50 mph and there was a droning sound. i was afraid to take it over 65. i got home and noticed that the passenger side wheel had negative camber as where it didnt before. what might cause this? im thinking about taking that shock back and getting another. the other wheel is fine. what do yall think?

i'd jck it up and check that your wheel lugs are tight first then i'd take the shock off and see how it looks without it// then i'd check wheel bearings and balljoints//

The shock should have no effect on the camber. I suspect you have something else going on and it was just a coincidence that it became noticable after the shock change. I would check your wheel bearings and ball joints also after checking the lug nuts.

I agree with the above. Don't drive it unitl you find out what the deal is as there is something mechanically wrong.

i changed the wheel bearings about 2 months ago, but i will check them anyways. i have the day off tomorrow, ill give it all a look over.

Re: negative camber after shock replacement

Check upper control arm where it bolts to frame. Sounds like you have some shims missing. Check to see if the bolts are tight.
