Radio delete - broken tab fix
Im in the process of re assembling my cab interior. I went to put on my radio delete plate. One side was missing a tab and the other side did not want to go in. So I made these up during my break at work. I used 18 g stainless, 8-32 stud weld, add a body fender washer and a nut.

That's pretty creative, and nice welding too!
On mine, I found a really good replacement for that plate... It's called a RADIO!! |

Thank you for you comments.
The stud welder is really easy. Set the power knob to the size screw you are using. Put the stud where you want it, press down and pull the trigger. In a car I need a radio. In my truck I really dont miss it. I can just space out, figure out problems.
