71 blazer 2x4
I'm looking to buy a 2 wheel drive blazer (GMC). The vin is a KE114. So am I correct to think it's a 4x4 converted to a 2x4?
Its a nice looking low rider with a 350 engine and a 700 trans. shaved door handles aftermarket gray interior and gauges. Paint is very nice. I am looking to turn it. Will a conversion like this bring ok money? Or will it tank? Dennis |

Re: 71 blazer 2x4
the k bodies are for sure 4x4's , this could be a conversion, or a 4wd tub on a 2wd frame... if it is a conversion and done correctly, i dont see why it wouldnt bring decent money.

Re: 71 blazer 2x4
The frame has the same vin as the replacement DMV sticker on the door, which also matches the title #.
It's hard to see under it because it's lowered. I assume they just changed out the axle and suspension. That's fine with me if the work is good. I dont care because I want to turn it to somebody that wants it. I wouldn't even consider hiding this conversion from a buyer. My question is --does this conversion really matter to somebody that just wants a 2 wheel blazer |

Re: 71 blazer 2x4
no because 75% of the 2wd blazers are conversions in the first place.

Re: 71 blazer 2x4
I don't think most people care as long as the conversion was done well, but there are always those people who want just a factory 2wd blazer/jimmy.

Re: 71 blazer 2x4
What are your plans to flip it? It already looks good as it is.
