What splash shield between front fender and cab??

OK, i’ve got to do something about this: Been driving my 65 with no splash shields for over 30 years(?) i’ve had three different parts trucks and none of them had any kind of a splash shield? Certainly It came from the factory with SOMETHING yes? Anybody have a picture of what I’m supposed to have and where I might get a pair?

Re: What splash shield between front fender and cab??

SkinnyG,
Thanks for the reply and the link. Mine is a 65 and number nine. Looks like what I would be after what I’m curious is if there are some kind of metal frame that backs up that rubber and attaches to ???. Would one of you possibly have a factory illustration of this area to note the attaching hardware / bracket?

Re: What splash shield between front fender and cab??

Thank you for the reply and setting me up with an idea of what I’ll need for parts and pieces. I think I had noticed the bracket and the rubber in one of the truck catalogs years ago. That was wondering if there was still another piece or two that wasn’t reproduced. I’ll go ahead and purchase these items and give them a try. Thanks again,

Don't forget the clips, though I'm pretty sure I seam-sealed the snot out of mine.
