Power steering Pump

Hey Guys,

Im a newbie to the fourm, truck, and power steering. Ive owned my fair share on non power steering vehicles, and I decided to get power steering on my "new" c20. the belt is extremely loose and I need to tighten it in order to turn (found that out the hard way). Can someone walk me through the steps?

Im a youngin starting a rebuild so you'll be hearing from me often

Much apperciated,

B

Re: Power steering Pump

Should be an elongated hole in the top bracket that mounts the pump to the motor, loosen the bolts a bit, push till the belt is tight and tighten everything back up. May have a worn belt, so check that too.
