Best place to buy E-brake cables?
Hi all,
Where's the best place to go for E-brake cables? I know that I _can_ get them from LMC but at nearly $30/each for the rears, was wondering if there were other places that were a bit cheaper. thanks O ya, the truck is a '67 C20 longbed, coil spring rear with overload leaf; 6cyl/4spd. |

I got a tip on this very mention out of oklahoma. Go to Orielys auto parts. Cheaper than LMC and a couple others

Re: Best place to buy E-brake cables?
I just bought the rear cables (the ones that go to the drum) from O'Reilly's BrakeBest p/n BC92416. They were $16.99 ea and were ready for pickup in 2 hours. Truck is a coil spring '68 C10.

Got mine from Inline Tube. Excellent fit, just like the original. Make sure you specify the wheel base and transmission you have.
You can also get them in stainless if you so desire. Pete |

Re: Best place to buy E-brake cables?
I sure could have used that p/n about two months ago. I tried ordering twice from oreilly's and they kept sending me the wrong part. I ordered from LMC but had to spend 80 bucks on the pair.

Re: Best place to buy E-brake cables?
Thanks for the info. Sadly we don't have any O'Reilley's up here--they really are pretty good, bought a ton of stuff from them when I lived in Texas.
Inline tube looks like they have got some good-quality cables and lines but, they're more expensive than LMC. I don't care about appearance, I just want them to work. Thanks--
