Sat pics (8-9) Couple after dark shots

Did a bit of cruisin around the Chattanooga area and found a couple places to shoot a couple shots.

Those are awesome. I know you've said it before but what camera brand and model is it you use for night pictures?

Re: Sat pics (8-9) Couple after dark shots

Thanks guys! I actually used both of my cameras for this round. The newer camera won't allow me to keep the shutter open but 16 secs and wasn't allowing me to get the effect I was looking for. I went to the older camera and kept the shutter open for 64 secs and was little happier with the results.

The newer one is a Kodak easyshare Z712IS.

The older one is a Kodak easyshare Z760.

Nice pics!!!!!............next night out (preferably dusk) try some long exposures......using "B" if the camera has it or figure out how to leave the shutter open. You will get some great results

Re: Sat pics (8-9) Couple after dark shots

I must have just missed you Asa. I was in downtown Chattanooga until about 4/5 on Saturday. They had a big bike show or something going on down there Friday night. Also, LUV was there on Saturday as well.

Re: Sat pics (8-9) Couple after dark shots

They do the nightfall concert series all through the summer where they close off all of the traffic in the concert area to everything but motorcycles. I guess I must have Zigged when you guys Zagged! We ended up at Chili's over on Brainerd RD and then oozed across the street to the bowling alley. Be sure to give us a shout next time you guys are in town.

Re: Sat pics (8-9) Couple after dark shots

I always enjoy your pics. You find some great back drops for the old pickup and are really great at photography. Thanks for sharing.

Matter of fact, when I finish my new project, I'd probably pay you to take some great pics of it.

Thanks,

Tom

Best pass with the street 406 hydraulic roller motor w/ mild plate tuneup
5.93 @ 114 mph 1/8 mile w/ a 1.29 60' 2003 or 2004
