Tire Size Help!
I got a 1982 chevy silverado 4x4 long bed no lift or anything it has small tires on it they are 235/75 15's and i want to know what is the biggest size u can stick on the truck with no lift .

It depends on what size wheel and offset you have. Some guys claim to run 33/12.50-15's with no rubbing the fenders and others do have rubbing, I would run a 32/11.50-15.

I have 35x12.50-16.5's onn my stock height 77 and they dont rub.

33 12.50s on stock wheels will fit.

I think they have 15x10 on the and they will fit 33x12.50 on there

I run 33 12.50's with a little rub when I'm at full lock and hit a bump......as for the guy running 35's with no lift I don't see how unless you cut your truck...

BFG AT'S are ok as long as you stay away from heavy mud........I run some no name at's that are more like mt's they are quiet,wear good,and sling mud good........

I have run 33x12.50 on stock wheels on a 83 4x4 longbed. I don't remember any rub..
As for tires I like the BFG AT's they wear good and are not bad off road. I have Goodyear MTR's on my 71 and they are not bad but the wear is not as good as I would like. I do more highway driving so my next tire mite be BFG AT's or Kumo's.

All my pics are too big and I cant upload them !! I did have to do some trimming on the front fenders to get 35s to work. It has been so long since I did that i'd forgotten ! I believe I had to trim for 33s also. On the back i have a utility bed that I was able to raise up . What a job that was ! I had no idea how heavy utility beds are ! So hey sorry, I guess im not the one with the answer !
