700r4 required with TPI?
Is a 700r4 or 4l60e required when doing a TPI swap? Is anyone out there running a th350 with TPI?
Thanks!

Nope, you can run any tranny you want. Simply pull the tranny lockup stuff off the harness and head on your way! The ECM does not look to see if the tranny locked up or not, so it will not care if you have it plugged in, or just sitting there.
Hang onto the lockup wiring though, incase you want to go to a lockup tranny later

I am running my TPI with my 4-speed. I will be putting a 700r4 in this summer though.
