WTB Dana 44 axle shaft - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was going to upgrade to chromoly axles, but instead, I will be upgrading to a Dana 60 later. For now, I just need a replacement long, driver side shaft. It measures 36-1/8" from the center of the u-joint to the end of the shaft. I dont need the other side or the stub shafts or even the u-joints. I am hoping someone has one of these laying around that is straight. Thanks, Joey

Not right now........Besides, I dont want to spend $100 either. I did see a complete set awhile back for $30 or so. But nothing on there now.

which year '44 do you have-69 and older, 70, 71-72, or 73 on up ? let me know and i'll check my "stash".

I have a '72. As long as the shaft is the same length of 36.13, and the slpine count of 30, it should work. Thanks!!

The measurment is suppose to be 36.13, sorry 'bout that.

i finally got out there and all i have left are complete shafts, i guess i've sold off all my seperate pieces. if you're interested, i'll sell a complete shaft for 30 bucks plus shipping.

i'm up in the S.F. bay area. i haven't been able to get an exact cost on shipping, working too many hours . i would guess shipping in the $20.00 area, so if you want it for 50 bucks delivered, it's yours.
