Been waiting for this day...my first test drive in my 69 GMC stepper!!!!
Hey guys I have been working on the engine this winter on my 69 GMC stepside the engine and engine bay was in sad shape. So I rebuilt the engine my first by the way and finely got it back in the truck. So you got it had to go for a drive!! I have had this truck for almost a year now and I have never got to drive it, it was all apart when I got it. I have lowered it redone the interior and now a rebuilt engine. Next thing on the to do list is paint. The truck ran great! A real big boost for all the work to get it done. How did the engine and engine bay turn out? Thanks for all the help so far guys, Robert

Good job! Looks great. Nothing like bringing a truck back to life! My 70 stepper didn't run for ten years before I bought it. Changed the oil&new fuel(in a beer bottle) battery and she fired right up! It's a great feeling and congrats on the motor. Remember smiles per miles! Cheers, Pat
