Converting a mechanical oil gauge to electrical

Can this be done? I’m working on a 1970 c10.

Re: Converting a mechanical oil gauge to electrical

Just started this the other day. Had my cluster out and noticed oil in there that wasn't there 2 years ago when I put it in.

I'm using a late 1980's truck gauge, and sending unit. Plan on testing it next weekend.

Keep us updated! Very curious to see if that works. Does that gauge fit the same even?
