lowering with rear leafs

We are gonna get busy on the chassis for the 58 here soon and with us grafting on a NOva clip, it will drop the front end by 4", but whats the right way to lower a leaf spring rear end? Any pics of flip kits to place the axle above the leafs? is this the right way to do it or do you remove leafs?

I would do the flip kit. Removing leafs will work, but it depends on how many you remove and if you plan to use the truck as a truck (hauling, etc).

I just finished a 55 bagged with one of our front ends (Macgyvers) and a nice custom four link.

Dubie, i'm slowly working on my 58 longbed. I used 4" mono's up front and am going to use 5" mono's in the front. GMC Pauls has them. Just a thought. johnj

I'll have to look into the mono leafs for the rear end. Thje truck has a NOva front clip welded in the front already so using mono's up there is out of the question. How low does the mono take it down in the rear?
