1966 Gold 4 x4

Picked this 66 C-10 4 X 4 today . Original drive train. Suppose to start and run will find out with a new battery. Never had a 60s 4X4 before . Any tricks to shifting into 4 wheel drive or helpfull hints. About how many did they make ? First part of serial is K154

On my old 4WD I used to put my right foot on the 4WD lever and lightly pop the clutch with my left foot to disengage the system.

I put a battery and poured a little gas in carb and it started. Going to change fuel pump, hoses, master cylinder, check transfer oils and get it road worthy . Go cruising.
