RIP 86 Silverado..

my father picked up this truck the other day for about $350.00 as a donor for my '67. i Decided to post a memorial of the tear down b/c the body only has a few bad spots. and the engine bay is toast (literally)..

Only managed to get the rear diff and bed off today but the front end and engine come off tomorrow. then it get re-born into my '67 GMC..

With out further delay. I give you this soon to be member of the parts board...

Ill be post pics of body panels and other parts sometime this week in the parts board when i get a lil more cash in the bank..

Sell....

maybe the exhaust,
Sell the dual tank setup as a conversion, cut the gas door out of the bed.
back bumper,
door panels/interior trim.
windshield visor,
front grille guard.

Maybe a few other odds and ends.

I have seen several of those grill guards here in Houston. Must have been a Texas thing...

Re: RIP 86 Silverado..

I would sell the bed whole. In MN it is hard to find a bed that nice. Damn rust! Hell, if tou want o trade I'll send you a a gas door and cut out. You can send me the box. I've seen a few grill guards like that. Most look like the have been used hard.
