Dumb, and probably easy headlight style question.

I have a 1984 GMC Single head light and I'm looking for new grill, but I was wondering if you could get a single headlight Chevy, or if only GMC's were single.

Chevy grills usually have a bowtie molded in the middle.

You could get either with either set up. Also just need to change the headlight buckets as some call them, not the whole grille. Just the plastic around the lights...

So, the grills are the same weither it's single or double? I was just wondering because I'm going to get my friends to keep and eye open for a grill, so I just wanted to make sure a Chevy, or GMC grill will work.

Re: Dumb, and probably easy headlight style question.

I'm pretty sure. I had an 87 Silverado that had the dual lights. I swapped to an 89-91 style front. I then had an 84 with a cheesy tube grille, but single lights. I put in the 87 grille with buckets off some year but single. Bolted on fine, and looked fine.
