boss 348 wheel, 6 lug with covered cap! anybody try

I get nothing from this but I just started working for American Eagle alloys and Boss is one of our brands. I was learning the inventory and came across this wheel. The pic is not great and looks much better in person but was wondering if anyone has tried these yet on a 6 lug c10

The Boss 348

Wondering what sizes and setbacks are available, no info elsewhere on the net.

Well it says "6 lug version of 338" so I guess they would fit the same as the 338. While we got you here... Since you work for American Racing, how about you bring up the fit issues of the 338 on our trucks with 5x5" 1.25 brake rotors. It's a pretty big turn off when comparing wheels that you have to grind the hub down on your OE rotors to get them to fit. I love the look but don't want to have to modify rotors to fit a wheel.

It is a 6 lug but the cap gives the look of a 5 lug with the fake lugs. Not as good looking as a true 338 but not a bad alternative to having to do a full 5 lug swap with the hubs.

I will look up the fitment issues, I believe I was told that they have corrected the fitment issues for the c10 just lately. I will look into it more if I have a chance tomorrow. I really wish I could sell direct to you guys but I'm not aloud.

I will post all the info I can find. This version of the wheel is new and not around the net yet.

I bet the 6-lug wheel is designed for the 99-2013 trucks,... not the pre-71 6-lug trucks.
That means wrong offsets and the center bore of the wheel will be too small.

Re: boss 348 wheel, 6 lug with covered cap! anybody try

I'm glad to see a pic of them. My local Boss dealer met with a regional manager last fall and he told him they were in the works and would offer offsets and hub diameter options for both older C10 and modern trucks. He said they were planning a 17,18,20 & 22 with 8,9,9.5 width in grey or black.
I hope so.....

Re: boss 348 wheel, 6 lug with covered cap! anybody try

So far the only part number that doesn't appear to be released yet has these specs.

22"
the 348 has a 20mm offset, 5.9 backspace, with 108.2 mm hub bore. The 338 also has the 108.2 hub bore available now. Not sure if this was the cure for the disc brake problem spoke of earlier or not
