These always work ya just set them down on the gas peddle; plus you get the added bonus of having some thing to throw out the window at the ricers.

How much do you want for one of them C-controls. Mines old and never really worked well. You get what you pay for....

I thought on our trucks the cheap cruise control is called the manual throttle!
Works great to creep real slow while heater hunting. You do have to remember that hitting the brakes will not release this cruise control. LOL.

I was realy grateful for that cheap cruise control a few weekends ago. I live south of Salt Lake City, Utah, and was driving to Seattle, WA, but I spun a bearing just outside of La Grande, OR (that's almost exactly half way.) I had to creap back home at 30 mph on the back roads. I used the manual throttle when my right heel got too sore, to give it a bit of a rest. Took me 38 hours to get home buy my sbc did it.

When I was driving for a living in the mid 70s the manual throttle was the only cruise available for big trucks. A coworker learned a lesson one day. His throttle stuck and he blew through a rest area at 80 mph.

After that he disengaged before entering an exit ramp.

I use a completely digital throttle control system! Wide open or hard on the brakes. I'm just trying to figure out how to put the toggle switch on my steering wheel to save my foot from having to go from one to the other!

Replying to myself.... so sad.

I'm installing aftermarket audiovox cruise control this weekend. Manual throttle is not much fun.
