Finally got motivated and got the 2x4 ECE kit (deluxe) installed with shocks, panhard bar, shock relocate kit, and installed their ECE front sway bar.

OMG! I had read here the sway bar did amazing things, but I am stunned at how much better this thing handles. It even sounds different now that the exhaust isn't sticking way up in the air. Boy - if you don't have a sway bar, GET ONE!

very NICE! Low 'n Orange I love it.

Swaybars make a huge difference especially with a vehicle like we drive. Part of what you are feeling is the distribution of weight. You lowered the rear to be more equal to the front in height so the weight is not being pushed down on the frontend. Did you add a rear swaybar? If not, try one and you will be impressed how flat the truck handles or less twist in the rear of the truck.

I put a swaybar on my 72 at the same time as I had it lowered and yes it really really really improves how the truck takes a corner or curve, I was really pleased, really, I was, really!

I put brand new lowering springs front and rear along with new sway bar all at the same time, all from ECE if I remember right.

Hmm... My definition of bling bling was 20's slammed so you can't drive it and a warmed over motor with less than 300 HP.... <grin>

tomatocity - suggestions on a rear sway bar kit? I did notice a big difference behind me My goal with this thing is to have as much fun, faster than the 1995 Z28 Convertible I sold when I started fixing this one up.
