New from Georgia

Hey yall! My name is Jenn (hints the username lol), I'm from GA, and the proud owner of a 68 gmc c10. Fell in love with my grandpa's truck when,i was a Little girl and always wanted a c10, and now I have my own project to start on! Can't wait to get started and get it finished! The hubby and I live for this stuff, we love building trucks! Nice to meet everyone!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: New from Georgia

Hi! I seen that you have your truck static too. I have lowered mine 6 inches in the rear so far with a flip kit and cut springs in the front. It def needs better ride being a lady lol, so ive already got a notch ordered, was jw how you did the front of yours to give it better ride bc the cut springs aren't doing it for me. Did you do drop springs and spindles?

Re: New from Georgia

Before and after pic.

A few ppl were asking what my plans are for the truck.....She still has a ways to go, but she's getting there. Still need to notch it, have an old school wooden steering wheel im gonna put on, weld up most of the holes in thee body where the chrome pieces were, sand her down real good, might do some custom wooden door panels, install a cd player with my truck box, amp, and 10, maybe shave marker lights (not 100% sure on that one yet), do some white walls, recover the seat, new dash pad, roll pan, a light body work, maybe switch over to a 67 front clip eventually, and paint her. The sky is the limit for me really when i think about ideas for my truck.

Sorry I didn't see that you had responded. My truck has lowering springs front and rear, with spindles also. Has 2" drop spindles with 3" drop springs in the front. Rear has 5" drop springs and 2" blocks. Small C notch as well. Front also has tubular control arms to help correct alignment with front and rear CPP big sway bars!

Re: New from Georgia

Welcome! Always great to see more Georgians here!
I run the NE Georgia Swap Meet, and those trucks and parts are real popular there--if you're looking for anything, come down to it. First Saturday of every month.
Shoot me your email address, and I'll send you the dates and info on it.
