P1345 code

My 2000 Tahoe (old body) is throwing a code for a cam sensor. Upon initial start up the motor make noise similar to valves of lifters and after 30-60 seconds goes quiet. What is my fix for this issue? Oh 5.7 with 135k. Does not smoke. Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: P1345 code

Just to add to this , my service engine soon light comes on with the initial startup and after driving it for awhile the truck clears the light after 2 more startups.

Re: P1345 code

Okay with that code it is a ckp/cmp sensor correlation issuse, could be anything from a bad timing chain to a bad distributor. Or a bad crank sensor. Has the distributor been taken out recently? The cam sensor on that motor is in the distributor, pull the cap off and see if there is an play int eh distributor shaft
