Question WTB tach dash for 87 gmc 1 ton

I am looking for a tach dash cluster for an 87 GMC. It is a one ton. Must be in excellent condition, and working order.

sorry to tell you, but that wasn't available as far any of us have found out yet. mainly due to the VSS attached to the back of the speedo for feedback to puter needed for your fuel injection. I have been working on these tach dashes & clusters for about 5 years now and every day i learn something else about them. Main thing is not to believe anything you see listed on ebay. DAVE

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info, What does the variable speed sensor look like and is it mounted directly behind the speedometerbat the cluster. The reason I ask is because the speedometer appears no different on the back than a non fuel inj truck. I am the original owner and nothing has been done to it in that respect. Thanks Marty

It has a module "box" pigtailed to the back.
