Fleetside Paul?

Seems to have gone MIA again, last board activity 5-18-24. I remember he had health issues during a previous absence, hope he is doing OK.

Anyone know what's up with him?

Re: Fleetside Paul?

This reply from Paul was from back in the middle of April

Hi Larry, I had minor throat surgery that turned out not to be so minor. It really knocked the snot out of me. But I'm getting back now. I'm eating again after a month. Man did I miss that. I'll get back in the swing of things here again. Thanks for asking.

Yike! My youngest brother had larynx cancer. He got his food through a tube in the front of his throat. Sounds like that's what Paul got. Get well soon, Paul!

Re: Fleetside Paul?

I thought Paul was back on here on the other side of all the medical. Maybe I'm remembering wrong. But he was saying how things turned out better than expected and how he was grateful for that. I hope that things didn't take a different turn. He's a bright spot on here and I miss his comments. Maybe he's out with his honey, carving up the interstate in the motorhome he's got. Here's to the good life, Paul, hope you're well!

Tim is around I know a few people who have seen him on FB recently. Hopefully Paul is ok. I know he’s had some health problems in the recent past.

Re: Fleetside Paul?

This is another reply that Paul shared with me and it was back in April about the same as the other return message I got ,,just a bit more explaining

Quote from Paul

Yeah I'm getting back slowly but surely. It seems that recovering from the "cure' is as bad as the cancer. Chemo is like getting shot up with battery acid, and radiation is like getting microwaved. They were giving me Morphine for the pain and that didn't help. Tylenol works better. Go figure. Thanks for thinking of me Larry.

I’m not confident that’s the case I don’t believe I’ve ever given my last name out save buying or selling parts on here, or the few that I know well and occasionally see in person. I guess what I’m saying is that’s not really a pre requisite to being a team member. I really do hope Paul is ok.

I can't remember If I have sold him anything in the past or not. I will look through my records and see what I can find. I wouldn't give out any information but I wouldn't have a problem trying to contact him.
