Re: Black chrome paint

I haven't even heard of it till now. It looks like some very good stuff, compared to what is already out there. I have messed with the Dupli-Color kit with some decent results. It is hard to keep it from turning all black, during the first coat of paint. And it doesn't hold up to engine heat , I did my valve covers with it.
I would be very interested in seeing some stuff done with it. And I my consider giving it a try.

Re: Black chrome paint

That looks like a good product. I will be interested to see how it looks when you use it. I will say I got a chuckle out of their opening line in their description: "is the only black chrome spray paint effect that can't be found anywhere else". Ok, what does that mean? Is that a good thing? Haha. Maybe they meant something like: It's the only one of its kind. And it can't be found anywhere else.

All seriousness aside, I look forward to seeing how well it works.

Re: Black chrome paint

Alsa has been making that paint for years...actually I'm pretty sure they developed it. Never heard of motostorm before, looks like a rebox to me
