I'm not afraid of you.
My best is 16.41 at 80mph in my 5500lb Suburban. Let's see who's faster with a foot of snow on the ground.

My best time so far is 8.12 in the 1/8 mile. My best MPH so far is 85.88 MPH in the 1/8 mile. I haven't run the 1/4 mile with it, but it should run high 12's.

Those are fast times, guys!
Casey's is about 1/4 mile from my house. I made it there and back once with a case of beer in 7 minutes, 43 seconds. Seriously, your times are impressive. How do you get traction? |

My 70 probably ran a 14.5 or so last year, never timed it. had a 355 with 2.02 heads, performer RPM cam and intake, edelbrock 750, 3.73 posi etc.
My new 71 has a freshly rebuilt (nasty old used pistons out of an old 6 laying in someones back yard, and a head gasket) straight six, I am guessing it'll run anywhere between 22-24 if I dropped it out of a plane...

Well, the fasted I've been in my truck was "P". I got a little nervous around "H", and chickened out before I got to "M". However, that was with the 3.54 rearend. Now with 4.10's, I'm only good for around 100 mph.
Quarter mile times? If I could only get the tires to hook up

Yeah, how much nitrous are you running? I saw on your website you have a NX kit. Nice 60' times. My 60' times are in the 1.90's most of the time. I need some better tires. Last edited by 383 Stroker; 08-14-2002 at 05:51 PM. |

I thought he was running a blower on that 5.3.
I guess it's nitrous. Either one would grenade my engine. SC
