Engine Frame Brackets Help

I have a 68 Chevy Truck and just got done putting in the whole 74 cross member and front suspension and did that for the easy disc brake conversion. What engine frame brackets do I use for a small block?

Re: Engine Frame Brackets Help

The stock 73-86 sbc engine brackets will work just fine. If your putting in a bbc, I've been told you need to use the 68-72 bbc mounts, however I don't see why? The newer mounts should work with the bbc as well. I have the same cross member etc in my 69.
