Re: My tow trucks a star!

Used a photo of yours without permission eh? You might be able to finagle some sort of compensation out of that one. Still, seeing it on TV is still pretty cool though, no matter how it happened.
The tow truck is awesome, but as a follower of the J-tin movment I'm interested in the San Maru Zeto in your avatar photo too. There aren't many of them left on the east coast.

Re: My tow trucks a star!

I`m going to contact Audi soon about it. It is pretty cool! Made my day! I was told I was like a proud papa telling everyone at work about it....LOL

My avitar is my 73 datsun 240Z, at the time it was running 12.0@116 in the 1/4. with a mild 400 sbc.

Since then its been taken off the street, full caged and a fitted with a 10 bolt nova rear and put on the back burnner for now.

I had a stock cherry 72 240z at the same time. The one in the avitar was the parts car for it. I sold it and kept the avitar one. A move I still regret.

My buddy daryl and I used to do a lot of street stuff in a black 67 bigblock camaro with a lot of nitrous. We loved the way that nova looked with the hubcaps..

Re: My tow trucks a star!

ok...did your buddy sell the car and get into speedboats? I have to get with my buddy bob and ask him about your car. He remembers everything about back then.

You might remember or even know him. he rode around in a red 66 chevy truck, mini tubbed, tilt frontend with a 402 bbc.

Congrats on an awesome rig and being world famous!

If my nova needs a tug, I'll call you up as long as you don't charge mileage.
