Welp..Sold my truck...

Yeah, I did it again.
not to be confused with Brittney

I sold my 60. So I managed to buy it, paint and letter it, lower it, drive it and sell it all in 3 months....haha

It was just too small for me, wifey and a 13 and 16yr old.

So its going to Australia to live the Aussie life.

I did look at a pretty nice 63 suburban, but may pass on it to buy a pretty *****in 50 Chevy 2dr.

I'll still check in here. I still love 47-66 trucks, and Im only 2 years from being able to have another

So Goodbye to my lil 60.

Old custom classic trucks have soul. Their dashboards aren't plastic, and they've survived both the best and worst of what the 20th century had to offer. For the owners of these trucks, it's often the same story. Through both good and bad times they persevered, until one day they could turn the key and roll up in a customized truck everyone with good taste would admire.Custom Classic Trucks

Re: Welp..Sold my truck...

I did ok on it.
It was on evilbay and the dude called me frm Australia sat afternoon, and I told him if he wanted that bad, hit the Buy-it-now, which he did a few hours later.

Easy come, easy go.

Those that know me from the HAMB, know I have a sickness

Ive had, roughly, 50 pre-66 cars and trucks in the 20yrs Ive been with my wife.
I have a album on the HAMB with pics of maybe half of them. I lost tons of pics in a PC crash years ago.

If the dude with the burb would just drop 500-600 bucks, Id buy it. But as it sets, my club buddies would laugh me outta town.

It needs a wheel/tire, altitude adjustment, and massive cleaning to just be acceptable, and with Columbus Goodguys looming 14 days away, Im short on time.
And even then, doing all that, it would just be a plain white lowered burb with www's. Not very flashy.

We'll see. I may call him just for ****sNgiggles tomorrow.
