Private Messages ????
Hi , kinda new to the site .....how do you know when you have a private message ...do you have to check everyday . I feel so bad cause I said I had Hollander Interchange and never heard from anyone ....but when I checked my private messages for the first time in 2 weeks , I had a cpl request for help in Interchange , I really do apologize for not responding , but I thought maybe I'd be notified of pm's like Yahell or something ....I know ....DUH on my part ....lol ... Just curious ....if this is too dumb of a question to respond to I understand fully .....ty jyd

you should get a email stating that you have a private message when someone sends you one.

its an option to get an email. go under use cp and options and click send me an email when i get a pm

Actually, there is a newer version of this particular BBS software that has an indicator at the top that tells you how many read and un-read PM's you have. Comes in very handy on another BBS I frequent that has the newer version.

there is an option that you can select that will pop-up a window to let you know you have a PM.

toward the bottom of the main index page , it also tells you how many private messages you have when you log in.

I have the pop-up window selected on mine, but it only works about 50% of the time....i just check mine every day
