Rust Removal
What would be the best way to remove this problem spot in the passenger side of my truck?
Thanks |

I'm with BigVinnie- Rust only spreads if you don't take care of it right the first time. That means get rid of ALL the rusty metal, weld in a patch panel and treat the patch panel with primer/paint or something to keep it from rusting again.

Yep thats what I was thinking as well. Probably the best way. I guess any 67-72 truck that that part is in good shape, cut it out and weld it back in. Im going to have to the same to both rocker panels.
Thanks |

I have some similar rust in my floor. I decided to cut it out, I just have to find someone local to do it.

Is greater bay area san jose? I am going to start looking locally as well. If not then I will have to get all of the parts together and take it for a 300 mile trip to my bro n laws aka mr weld as I like to call him ..
