Ls3 tr6060 swap

Hi guys I am doing a total rebuild on my 71 and am almost done with the chassis.I’m looking to put in an ls3 and tr6060 but I have a few questions.do I need to get a high hump floor? Also do I need to do anything as far as relocating the shifter or does it line up pretty well as is? I don’t have any seats yet but I’m planning on doing buckets. Thanks for any help!

Not sure about your hump...but I'm betting you'll need to relocate the shifter..
I'm gonna use silversports on mine when I get to that build

Re: Ls3 tr6060 swap

If your LS3 and trans came out a Camaro as I understand the shifter is some sort of a remote mount not mounted to the trans case like a T56. There kits available to change that. When I did the T56 Magnum in my 68 I added a high hump to reduce the engine/trans angle.
