Bucket Seat Questions

Can somebody help me out with some questions about bucket seats? Im kinda new to these trucks and I am wondering do the factory buckets in our trucks bolt up in place of the factory buckets in most truck. Also does anyone have any pictures of what factory buckets look like? Thanks in advance.

Good to see another Iowa member. Don't think I have seen pics of your truck and you are just an hour away. If you got em post em!
As far as bucket pics here is a set I just finished but they have the blazer mounts on them

Just FYI to some of the newer members. Those blue buckets are also Blazer buckets. You can tell by the seat backs... they taper wider at the bottom. Truck buckets will not have that wider taper at the bottom of the seat backs.

They aren't that hard to find. I have a set I would sell.

Truck vs Blazer seats?

dtlilly:???I am not aware of any difference between truck/blazer/sub bucket seats. Blazers & subs have hard back covers. Seats & foams are the same...69-70 foams & covers were different from 71-2. Did I miss something again? Some times it happens.

Frank, I was told the reproduction foams today are actually Blazer foams, but they will work in the truck buckets, just a tighter fit. I wish I had my old computer, I had pictures showing the differences between Blazer and Truck. There was a thread a while back that discussed these differences, but I couldn't find it
