This windshield gasket is sold. I would still be interested in buying gasket GM# 3940754 if anyone has one for sale.

I have a NOS Windshield Gasket (GM # 3985042) that is correct for 71-72 trucks with stainless trim. It is in perfect shape...no damage and still very soft in the original box.

Ideally, I would like to trade it for a 67-70 windshield gasket with trim (which I believe is GM # 3940754) in equally perfect condition. Anyone looking to trade? I would also buy one outright for the price I sell mine.

If no takers on the trade, I will sell for $190 shipped (plus fees). I'd like to try trading for a few weeks before accepting a purchase. Feel free to get in line (on the thread) for purchase in the meantime...

I am thinking the early NOS one I have is non trim but I will have to check the number in the morning.

i didnt know there was a difference in cabs

The cab is the same, it's the trim/gaskets that are are different. Either will work, but you need the 67-70 trim for the 67-70 gasket, and the 71-72 trim for the 71-72 gasket. The 67-70 set of trim has a deeper lip.
