Question Front differentail

Hi all! I have a 1991 k1500 series & I replaced the actuator & still isn't going into 4 wheel drive. Any suggestions?

did you get the stock replacement actuator, or the upgrade actuator?

Probably no help by me, I don't know a lot about the independent front ends.

But don't they make a manual kit to get rid of the actuated one..

If i'm right, it might be an option.
If I'm wrong then SSSSHHHHH I was never here

I think there is a harness kit you need when the new a actuator is used. Also did you put the spacer in before the actuator?

Yes to both, wiring harness & spacer. The indicater light comes on saying it's in 4 wheel drive but it really isn't.

if the light is on then that means the front axle fork is engaged. sounds like you need to raise the whole truck up and see what is moving and what isn't
