A/C Lamp Socket
I am looking for one of these type light sockets for my AC panel. There's a hole on each end of the back side of the A/C control and it's pretty obvious that they are for the lamp sockets.
One socket only gets voltage when the instrument lights are on and it varies with the dimmer as I would expect. Does the A/C control get 2 lamps, one on each end? The wire is gray and comes out of the factory harness. The wiring diagrams and the owners manual also appear to indicate that there is only one lamp for the A/C controls. It sure looks like there are two socket holes in the back of the control. Any one have another socket like the one pictured? One of my works the other is destroyed. '72 Stepside |

Re: A/C Lamp Socket
They also should be in the dash wiring harness - grey wire.

Re: A/C Lamp Socket
I only had one A/C light when I bought the truck. I got another socket/wire and just spliced it into the one already there.
