Help with Retrosound

Trying to put a Retrosound system in my truck. The wiring diagram shows 4 speaker outputs. 2 for the front and 2 for the rear.

I have 5 speakers going into the truck though, 2 small at the dash, 1 center dash which is a DVC (dual voice coil), and 2 rear corners.

I was thinking about using 1 channel to power the two small fronts. Run the rears separate and use the last one to wire the DVC in series.

Is this correct?

Re: Help with Retrosound

Do you know what the retrosound manual says about the number of ohms the speakers should be? And do you know the ohms of each of your speakers?

Each speaker is 4ohms. I contacted retro sound and they said that I needed an external amp to use more than 4 speakers so I got one.

Re: Help with Retrosound

It sounds like your all set then. I think the dual voice coil speaker can be used as if it is 2 speakers, so you really have 6 speakers as far as the radio and amp know.

It is great! Sounds good and I have no problems with the system. I'm not someone who is super into sound or anything just need something to listen to when on long drives. No problems so far
