What to replace the plastic bows that hold in the headliner with.

Well when taking my old ones off. 1 was broke pretty bad and another one was so brittle that it broke under its own weight when removing them. The third one is pretty well faded and looks like it is going to break when re-installing it. Has anyone replaced them with something? What? or.....Anyone have a good set around they want to part with? Let me know

I posted the same thing a while ago and didn't get any real good suggestions other than making a one-piece headliner. I'm going to try to make some from stainless.

What about using a fiber-glass rod?
Or even a carbon fiber one.

Modern stunt kites use them, might be a place to start.
