Selling parts advice please

I have some truck parts that I really want to sell, mostly to make room in the garage. The problem is they are relatively low value and probably difficult/expensive to ship. These are wheels, axles, etc.
What do you all recommend?

If there is a Craigs list near you try that, If not use Ebay and on heavy stuff list it for local pickup only. There are other methods to sell big stuff, but it will take more effort on your part.

Craigslist for sure!!

If you have your stuff priced right, your phone will be ringing within 4 hours.

I am in Lansing, MI and there is a craigslist, but it does not look like it gets many visitors.
Oh well, it is free right?

Re: Selling parts advice please

Find a big town near you, and list it on there, a town a half hour away from me gets as many hits in an hour as my town gets in a week.

What all do you have? any stepside rear bumper brackets for a 73-87? haha

It's the modern day classifieds section of the ole newspaper!

Offer to meet halfway and it'll all be gone.

Re: Selling parts advice please

I have a set of old wheels with tires, a rearend - those are the items I was worried about shipping if I listed them on EBAY.
I also got a lot of other stuff to move out of this garage, bedrug, weed wacker, fuel pump, air filter.
I'll stop here so I don't get in trouble for not posting in the parts forum

Re: Selling parts advice please

Our town has a cruise-in and they set aside a section for swap meets. I have put my "junk" in the back of the truck and sold a few things. BTW, I lived in East Lansing '85-'90. Go Spartans!
