Question Chrome or paint?

i found a deal on front and rear bumpers today in great shape that are painted. Did these come factory and been painted over? can they be chromed and for how much? Any one have pics of trucks with painted bumpers?

a bumper in very nice condition can be rechromed around here for $600-$700 last time i checked a few years ago probabally more now

New re-pop bumpers are $125 each at any truck parts supplier. Its not worth the time or effort to have them chromed.

White painted bumpers were standard equipment.I saw a cool Big 1 Ton GMC (wide-5) for sale once with painted original bumper guards,pretty cool stock rack truck.

My 69 c10 no option truck had painted bumpers i have a few pics not that good though.They are more rust than white.

White paint on these trucks sucked.Well,at least as the accent color on a 2-tone and on parts like mirrors,bumpers,and hubcaps.

WOW that's expensive. The last price quote I saw was for $300 - and that included straightening!

my truck has "painted bumper" as an option in the glovebox sticker.
