Hey guys I need to try and remove the woodgrain in the bottom side molding as its half gone. Any way to remove the woodgrain without ruining the molding. Thanks Rick

Spray can decal remover at your auto store or paint store.

It`s going to be stubborn after all these years.But,it`s doeable.

3M makes an adhesive remover that works well. It should be available at most auto parts stores.

Loosen all the nuts first. I used the LMC catalog as a guide so I knew where the threads, pop out clips, and adhesive was. I used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and it peeled right off. Had to us "goof off" to get the residual adhesive off. Washed it up and compounded the area where the moulding was and put the new stuff on. Looks awesome.
