Brake pedal distance from the floor

With power drum brakes how far should the pedal be from the floor?
Thanks

Are you looking for how far it comes up, or how far down you have to push the pedal?

There should be a rubber bumper on a metal bracket that keeps it from going up too high, it'll be the same for power verses non power.

With power brakes I always thought the brake pedal and the gas bedal should be the same hight. This way you dont have to lift your foot off the floor to go from one to the other, just pivit on your heal.

interesting...I just went out and measured both of mine.
One with and one without a booster. The manual brakes had the bedal about 4 inches from the floor, while the power brakes was only about 3 inches.
