sorry guys no pics yet, I need to get someone to host the pics so I can get them on here. I have a MAC so its kinda tricky and Im not that computer savvy. I can tell you it I went 5 1/2 and 5 on it. I used the summit spindles and cut the stock heavy duty spring 1 coil. In the back took out 2 leafs from the heavy duty 7 spring pack and used the shackle kit. The truck rides killer and I have 265/50-15's in front and 295/50-15's out back on 8" truck ralleys.

Here you go Mike. Nice truck BTW!

Which one are you going to use for your avatar?

Also, I was able to attach these directly from you using the boards "manage attachments" feature. You should have been able to do the same.

i've been waiting for these pics all week! lol!

so, let me get this right, you lowered the front w/ 5.5" and then in the rear you used a shackle kit (which is usually 2", right?) and then you took out some leaves to get the other 3" of drop?

i'm looking to do mine... and was going to use 2" drop coils from Timspeed and 2" shackles... is this a good idea? i DO NOT WANT to slam the truck... just drop it down a lil...

I used the 2 1/2 summit spindle and cut 1 coil out of the spring, then used the summit shackle and hanger kit, also removed 2 springs out of the spring pack, used to have 6 springs plus overload now has 4 plus the overload.

I saw pics of your truck(NICE!!) love that color. looks like you have standard suspension not the HD like mine does. The shackles for the rear of the leaf spring will drop it 2 inches, or get your springs de-arched. If your not gonna tow anything take 1 or 2 springs out. In the front I would just cut 1 coil off the spring and check the height. It should only go down no more than 3 inches. Good luck and take pics!!!
