I hate my truck today...

Tranny noise and can't pass nor fail emissions...

I am considering giving up on this thing and finding something that doesn't need emissions!!!!!!!!!!

Ever have days like that...

Just about everyday. I spend more time trying to fix stuff than I do driving sometimes.

I have a lot of days like that, and we don't have emissions checking here...yet.

I think I'm gonna have to buy a cat to go back on my S-10. They are supposed to start emissions testing next year.

At least my 70 C-10 should be safe.

Oh ya, I know that feeling. Today I was taking out the AC vents in my dash, now that I took out the AC. I made a cubby hole to fill in the top right vent & spent almost all afternoon making it. Guess what, yep its just a tiny bit too big!!@#$%& Oh well, Ill fix it tomorrow. Oh ya, I cracked my windshield trying to tap the dash hole out a little too. Good news there is it was already cracked in 2 other places. HA...corn

oh yeah i know the feeling, it started on monday for me. Truck died, the rotor looked bad so I changed that, truck still won't start. Hm...thought it was the ESC messing up, changed out the dizzy, then found out the dizzy wasn't turning, meaning that my camshaft was broken! So I pulled the motor and put in a new camshaft and got it all ready to go, got it running great, and such cruizing down the highway at night and I'm noticing alot of smoke. Do'nt think to much of it. Come home and my pasinger side exhaust pipe is covered in ATF. Looks like I sprung a leak.

Oh yeah, do I know that feeling. Have one car at home sitting do to a fuel problem when Friday my car wont start either. Finally got it going. I spend more money and time trying to find replacement emissions parts then I do on resto parts.
